Vegas Golf Inc. - - TaylorMade Rocketbladez

TaylorMade RocketBladez Men's Golf Clubs

The TaylorMade RocketBladez Men's Golf Clubs were inspired by its predecessor RocketBallz Irons. The TaylorMade RocketBladez Men's Golf Club was made with the RBZ speed pocket design in the 3-7 irons that works with an ultra thin face and has an improved Invereted Cone shape on the head to promote consistent and high ball speeds which translates into more distance on center and off-center hits.  The TaylorMade RocketBladez Men's Golf Clubs have an incredible feel that is promoted by a specially developed polyurethane that was created by 3M. The futuristic metal fills the RBZ Speed Pocket which queits vibration without slowing the flex of pocket while also keeping out all the dirt and debris.

The iron set was designed to have a consistent distance between the gaps throughout the set by precisley managing the RBZ Speed Pocket, Inverted Cone, Face Thickness, Cg Location and also shaft length and loft. Made with a shorter hosel the weight of the club is reduced by 9 grams, offering faster swing speeds and moves the CG location closer to the center. By doing this TaylorMade promotes a higher launch angle, higher peak trajectory and steeper descent angle for quick-stopping landings and a ton more distance.

  • Flexes and rebounds at impact, increasing the speed of the face to promote faster ball speed and a higher, stronger ball flight for more distance and a higher ball flight that lands on a steeper, quicker-stopping decent angle. You'll feel more comfortable going to the pin from farther out.
  • Fantastic feel promoted by a specially formulated polyurethane that fills that Speed Pocket and quiets vibration without significantly slowing/inhibiting the flex of the pocket. (It also keeps debris out).
  • The Speed Pocket advantage is especailly effective on impacts made low on the face wehre 72% of iron shots hit by most golfers are struck. So it's more forgiving.

Product Highlights:

The Outlaw Keegan Bradley?

Golf A 4 Letter Word

“The Outlaw Keegan Bradley?”

Really? Really?

What is going on with this new ruling on belly putter handed down from the powers that be? I have been in the golf business for 27 years and this is the most useless, unneeded and waste of manpower I have seen. Belly putters although popular are not by a long way dominating the tour. Yes they are popular and yes they do help some putt better, but is it cheating? NO WAY! I can loop a long putter just as easy as a short putter, in fact worse. I have seen many players go to a long putter and it not change their lives by a long way. So I ask you, the groove ruling was to stop the “huge” control players had out of the rough, right. Well I still see the ball backing up on greens without issue. So what did it change for those players who can make that shot with dimples for grooves, like the old R90 Wilson wedge.  None that I can see, I am sure they have to come at the ball a little differently but they still make that golf ball dance.

The PGA says that your long /belly putter will not be allowed to be anchored to your body. Am I missing something maybe I am confused. They are talking about allowing you to anchor the putter to your forearm, wrist and hands. In preparation for this Odyssey has already released an email blast for their debut of the Odyssey Metal X Arm Lock putter available in January at VegasGolfPros.com.  I don’t see why that is any different. If you remember years ago there was a forearm putter from Cobra. That was a buzz for while too.

With this ruling they have basically killed the belly putter business. No one will want to be accused of cheating. So throw away your belly and long putter because a few people won with them they are going to ruin golf as we know it. Oh and never mind about most Tour Pros hitting the golf ball around 300 yards that fine, we just don’t want them to have a short game.

See you on the green.

Vegas Golf Inc. - - Holiday Winter Deals

The holiday season brings out the best of the best from each golf manufacturer who look to capitalize on golfers looking for the edge they have been craving. Most of the times the prices could be more expensive than normal, but the quality of product offered is usually worth the extra buck. If you are a thrifty shopper looking for a deal, you are in the exactly right place where you are supposed to be.

I have gathered and collected information on few great products for golfers this Christmas that could save you time and money.

First off let me inform you about a special brand of golf shoes that are inexpensive, crafted from high quality materials and is backed by a C.E.O. who stands by all his products.

A-Game Golf Shoes create shoes with innovations, which enhances golfer’s game to take them to the next level. For instance, Brisole Technology, we all know what bristles are; little bristles usually on the bottom of scrub brushes. Brisole Technology is the same thing; A-Game features bristles on the end of a selection of their shoes that allows the golfer to swipe clean the face of a club face with a flick of the tip of their foot. This allows you to keep your focus and keep your head in the game instead of finding your towel to clean your clubs.

The prices are very inexpensive compared to many other shoes on the market, and if you think Brisole Technology is the only cutting edge Technology the A-Game Team imagined, you’re in for a surprise, Click here to see some of the most creative, contemporary, modern shoes you have seen ever before.

Second let me talk about golf clubs that are inexpensive but still deliver the performance you all want. Tour Edge is a manufacturer that has created a driver that holds the world record for distance. If you think the ball stops there you should keep looking, because the ball rolls all the way through to the irons. Many of Tour Edge’s golf clubs start at $599.95 for a 8 piece set.

Let’s take a moment and compare that to other manufacturer prices. TaylorMade recently released the Rocketbladez Golf Irons, the predecessor of Rocketballz Irons. The irons are spectacular on paper, they are claimed to give more distance and be forgiving at the same time, the price tag: $799.95. That is incredibly $200.00 more than the Tour Edge Irons.

We won’t stop there; the new JPX825 Irons from Mizuno will cost you a cool $699.95. The price is $100.00 cheaper than the Rocketbladez from TaylorMade, but still an astonishing $100.00 more than the Tour Edge. Remember also, these are starting prices, if you wish to upgrade your Tour Edge Irons you are looking at an extra $100.00, you want to upgrade either the Mizuno or the TaylorMade clubs you are going to exceed $200.00. Please don’t just take my word for it, start to compare prices for yourself and see the truth with your own eyes.

I even looked at winter golf gloves and compared prices for you. If you find yourself in the South-West or even in the South and you can golf in the winter, pick up a pair of FootJoy WinterSof Winter Golf Gloves. If you are shopping for a new golf bag that is high quality but still at the same time a good price, look at the Mizuno ScratchSac Carry Bag for 79.95. There are so many great deals out there, take your time and shop. Also give 1(888)873-0208 and talk to any member at Vegas Golf Inc. and they will be more than glad to help you get your special somebody that special something this holiday season.

2013 A-Game Golf Shoes

As the seasons slowly change, the world of golf also changes as. What was once new and the most desired club on the market, the always sold-out, back-ordered club becomes overstocked on shelves and gathering dust. Customers are filled with anticipation for the fresh new drivers and iron sets from the entire list of major brands i.e. Titleist, TaylorMade, Adams, etc. The new innovations, designs, looks and shafts get people caught up in the golf fever just as if it was their first time on the greens.

What some do over look in the ever-changing game of golf, is the small brands that are looking to climb the ladder with great products that change the face of the game. Small business and manufacturers look for the next big idea or that one little idea that has a profound effect on the game so it changes as we know it. It may not even be so much huge variance to where righties will swing left, maybe a small thing that will add convenience to make the game more enjoyable and smoother for the average Joe.

In Las Vegas, NV there is a up and coming, small operating shoe company, that is producing some of the best shoes on the market that will compete with any brand you throw up on the board. This small Las Vegas brand that has big ideas I am referring to is labeled A-Game Golf.

The problem with breaking down the door into the golf business to become a huge success is the market is so saturated with monster sovereigns and many golfers are loyal to their brand. For instance, many golfers who golf TaylorMade clubs will probably suit up and show up in attire with the Adidas logo. That is not the only brand where people will “Brand Up” and strictly purchase that brand and that brands sister companies merchandise.

There is nothing wrong with that, but when we as golfers get stuck on that narrow, one sided track, we have no idea if there is anything better.

It is insanity! A-Game Golf Shoes should be the most desirable shoes on the market if you ask this writers opinion. Year in, year out, Ed Coleman (C.E.O. of A-Game Golf) designs a shoe that makes you grin the first time you see the shoe, simply for the reason of uniqueness and the thought “Why didn’t they make this sooner?”

For 2012, the most desirable shoe they had available to men on the market, was the A-Game Galaxy Slip-On Golf Shoes. I could not tell you how many times we had to ship a box of those to somewhere in the country, the simple reason was it was the only shoe on the market that was slip-on besides Dawg Golf Shoes. For some reason, no other company was thinking outside the box and doing this.

The A-Game Slip-On Golf Shoe made a ripple through the market and started a slip-on golf shoe craze that didn't stop all the way up to they were discontinued. Luckily A-Game came back for the 2013 year with a slip on shoe that was better than its predecessor. For 2013 Ed made a easy slip shoe that had an adjustable back that could fit a wider foot that other slip-on shoes couldn't.

Besides the adjustable back which you can strap down snug and tight, A-Game also threw in a stretchy shoe lace that you can tighten easily and latch down with a slider plastic piece that creates all around stability that we all want and need. All these unique tie down features but still easy to slide in and out of like a bad situation with a cute girl.

Technologies that make the game of golf more enjoyable for golfers seem to be A-Game’s specialty. Not too many companies are interested in coming up with the next big idea, it is almost like manufacturers these days are creating a more creative name for an old technology like shoe laces. Well, that is not the business Ed partakes in. Ed and who ever his behind the scenes crew is, look for ways to make his shoes better to add extra desirability to the shoe as well as functionality.

For example, a no gimmick technology that really is sparking interest of many golfers is this special technology that can be found nowhere else besides A-Game. This new technology is labeled Brisole Technology. This technology is featured on a selection of A-Game’s line up that is desired by many golfers not only in the Las Vegas area, but also the whole entire country.

If you are drawing a blank when I say Brisole Technology and you can’t figure out what the heck I am talking about, allow me to fill you in. What they have done over there in the A-Game Brainstorm Lab was create something that allows you to keep your focus on your approach to the ball by not breaking to clean your club face. With one simple swipe of the outside of your foot you clean the grooves of the club of any unwanted debris that may have been collected on the last hole of play.

Ladies don’t think the Las Vegas local has simply placed you on the back burner for somebody else to please. Many women find themselves getting frustrated out there because all these great shoes coming off the line every year are strictly dedicated to men golfers. The new innovations, the brand new looks, ladies if you find yourself getting overly frustrated about this situation, look up A-Game Chameleon Golf Shoes. These shoes give you the ability to have 5 different colors, with the same design, to make you match your outfit infinitum after the first time.

What gives you this ability is the color swatches that can be removed and swapped for a different color. The colors range from pink, blue, and red, green, brown and the base color is silver. Many of those colors could probably match what you are wearing right now, stop having a closet full of different shoes that you spend hundreds of dollars on, the A-Game Chameleon Ladies Golf Shoes are available at half the price that you usually will have to pay.

If nothing you have read here entices your tastes and makes you feel an urge to search for A-Game Golf Shoes, I am not sure what will. While you may think Adidas is the greatest shoe ever made, or greatest attire ever marketed, I suggest you try something that will be half the money and worth double the buck. Stop being a skeptic of everything you see on the internet or seen on T.V. or the golf channel. Many of A-Game’s Golf Shoes can go head-to-head and even surpass many major brand shoes that are selling for well over $200.00. Do yourself the favor, stop spending an arm and a leg every time you purchase a decent pair of shoes and buy a pair of A-Game Golf Shoes for no more than $89.99.

"Stevie's Last Laugh"

Tiger Woods and Stevie Wonder met up at a fundraiser in L.A. and started making small talk. They discussed their careers and Stevie told Tiger he was having a few issues with his golf game.

"You actually play golf Stevie," Tiger asked.

"I've been playing for years," Stevie replied.

Tiger then asked him, "How is it possible you play, when your completely blind?"

Stevie then explains to Tiger that his caddie simply goes to the spot he wants to hit the ball. "My caddie speaks to me in a loud voice and because my hearing is so good, I simply hit the ball to wherever it is I hear the voice coming from; the fairway, the green, wherever."

Tiger says, "That's unbelievable, I'd love to play with you some time."

Stevie tells him, "That sounds great Tiger but I only play for $10,000 a hole."

Tiger, finding this all quite amusing suggests in a rather a smug fashion that they play for $100,000 a hole.
Stevie agrees and tells Tiger to meet him at Riviera Golf Club on Thursday.

Tiger says, "Great, I'll see you at Riviera on Thursday." "Oh Stevie, by the way, what time are we gonna tee-off?"

Stevie replies, "Tiger, I'll see you at midnight and don't forget your checkbook".

Las Vegas Golf Courses Overseeding

Fall is hear and us in the south-west area of the United States finally have found that relief from the ever so disheartening summer days that seem to haunt southern Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico. Many people look to escape to the south-west during the winter, but believe me we are all looking to escape to the Midwest when July hits. Last summer hear in Las Vegas, the hottest day we faced down, man vs. Mother Nature, was 119 degrees. That is so daunting I have no idea nobody was immediately cooked like a steak upon taking one step outside the door.

As far as golf goes, you could find deals as low as $19.00 on some of the best courses in the west. However, the problem is, you are golfing in temperatures that average around 115 degrees in the shade. There have been many recorded cases of people feinting from heat exhaustion, others who suffer from heat strokes, dehydration and whatever else comes with treacherous temperatures that rival Death Valley on any given day. There are those die hard golfers who can’t resist temptation and take the risk. More often than not they turn out to be fine, just extremely exhausted from battling the golf course while their body combats too keep cool and prevent from the brain getting fried.

When salvation finally reaches the City of Sin in around September, early October and it becomes prime golfing time, a lot of golf courses have the audacity to start over-seeding the whole entire course. That is in comparison to sitting a kid outside under the shade for two hours saying if he is a good boy or girl you will get an ice cream when it is all said and done and he behaves himself. Well, after the two hour passes the Ice Cream Man comes around the neighborhood you buy one of those orange push pops because, really, what is better than an orange push pop? You go three feet within the kid, you commence to unwrap the ice cream and you devour it right in front of his face.

The spoils of surviving the dreaded summer days, are finally hear and you can enjoy yourself outside and play your favorite game you absolutely love to play any day out of the year, than these course owners/managers  decide to close down for three months and take away the most opportune time to play a gentlemen’s sport. Something I will never get in this world.

Besides taking away golfers favorite days out of the year, you would not believe how much these golf courses take out of their own pockets. To over-seed one golf course it cost’s over $300,000, that is 1319 TaylorMade Rocketballz Drivers, 6256 Titleist Pro V1X Golf Balls, that is 160 2013 U.S. Open Golf Tickets for the whole weekend. Now that, to me, is absolutely senseless. Besides paying that $300,000 imagine how much money they are losing to either discounted green fees or completely shutting down the doors until their “Prissy Pristine” grass grows.

I have heard conversations between Club Owners/Managers and people around the golf shop, where most managers disagree completely with over-seeding.  They think they should just let the grass be, take care of it as necessary and be done with it. That way they don’t lose profit, don’t spend over a quarter of a million dollars on the grass and the most important thing, so golfers can play in the most pleasurable days we have here down in the South West.

I am not sure about you, but I think to over-seed a course is the way of self-sabotage. If anybody out there could please tell me why it is necessary to over-seed please, e-mail me.

Adjustable Drivers - - Fraud/Fake/Gimmick@!

Fall calls for many changes around the country; Trees transitioning from being full of life and vibrant green into the dormant brown prepping for the sure cold winter that lies ahead. The kids are back in school, busy with homework, new friends so their always gone and can never find the time to call. In the world of golf we find the manufacturers that supply us with the tools needed to dissect our favorite local golf course upgrading, changing, removing and adding new features, models and incorporating new innovations that some claim will change the face of golf as we know it.

Ever since the hybrids were invented, I do not think any new innovations, technologies or designs will cut your handicap by two. Still, these companies are wheeling and dealing claiming the next big thing, who knows maybe they are right.

A case in point is adjustable technology. I am sure if you are even a once a month golfer, golfing to escape the home life, work life or whichever life seems to haunt you over the days, you have heard of the TaylorMade Rocketballz driver.

When this bad boy came out with its enticing, bright color scheme, it instantly became the hottest driver, set of irons and fairway woods any one could have. All these clubs besides the irons were available with an adjustable hosel. The tuning capabilities claimed to give more distance to the ball because you can adjust the ball trajectory to your liking.

Absolutely makes sense to me,well, kind of. Here we stand almost a year later; TaylorMade has ceased the manufacturing of drivers with adjustable hosels. It makes me wonder how necessary adjustable technology really is. TaylorMade claims you can still get the same distance with or without the accommodating piece. Besides making that huge claim like every other manufacturer, they even dropped the price on the driver.
Don’t get me wrong, the TaylorMade Rocketballz driver is a great, solid golf club, but is adjustable technology just a gimmick to get people excited about paying more money for a club? Is it just a scam to squeeze that extra $70.00 out of you? Did they make us believe that adjustable technology is the way of the future just so they can up charge us and raise quarterly profits?

One thing that these manufacturers do know is, that we consumers of golf products will do just about anything to improve our game. We will through in that $200.00 Fujikura Blur shaft thinking this with its technological flex point design will give us that +20 yards on our long drives that we are all looking for.

I really don’t think that spending all this extra money, fine tuning our swing weights to that “ideal” swing weight we over hear people talking about on the course, will help us. Like I said before, there has been nothing game changing since the hybrids has been incorporated into golf. Hybrids make it easier to hit instead of your long irons, allotting more yardage, more forgiveness and better control. Adjustable technology just gives us a head ache and an excuse when the ball doesn't do what we wanted it to do. I am not sure about you, but I would rather find an excuse for free versus paying that extra money to do so for me.

If you really insist on paying all this money for these fine tuning options, go get yourself a pro and buy everything he is selling. His advice may not be tangible, but you might actually start getting those long distance driver swings going straight. For the longest time I hooked the ball way left swinging as a "righty" until I threw my hands in the air and I sought out professional advice. Fortunately the pros two cents were free since I have the advantage of working at a golf shop, but do yourself the favor and pay that one-time fee instead of paying for that B.S. these companies put out year, after year, after year.

Dear,

Hope this finds you well.

Autumn is around the corner and overseeding will be completed in the next few weeks and then comes what arguably could be the best golf time of the year. Good bye humidity!

It's also a great time if your a sports fan. The Major League Baseball playoffs are around the corner, NCAA football and the NFL are back in full swing and we have two great golf tournaments to wind down the year.

This week the Tour Championship will again be contested at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, GA. The home course of the legendary Bobby Jones, this beauty plays to a par 70 and measures 7,154 yards. The five guys at the top of the FedEx Cup standings (Mcllroy, Woods, Watney, Mickelson and Snedeker) will have a shot at the $10 million FedEx Cup Championship and the entire field is in contention to win the tournament purse, which pays an additional $1.4 million.  To put that in perspective, if one guy wins the whole enchilada ($11.4 million) and shoots even par (280) that equates to about $40,714 every times he swings the club. Assuming he pays his caddie a standard 10 percent, the caddie alone stands to make about $4,071 every time his player takes a swat at the ball. Not bad for a four day loop with no pressure. Give a yardage, read a green, wipe a club. Smile, say "Great Shot", pocket $1 million. EASY $$$$$$.

If Mcllroy and Woods are coming down the back stretch on Sunday, there will be a Super Bowl type of excitement in the air and it will be awesome to watch on TV even for the non-golfer.

The following week we have the 39th Ryder Cup Matches.  This year it's being held at Medinah Country Club, one of America's most prestigious venues located outside of Chicago. This gem has hosted more than it's share of major events and playing to a par 72 and stretching out to a mere 7,658 yards, it should prove to be a great test for both the American and European teams. Captain's Davis Love and Jose Maria Olazabal have put together two very competitive teams and the match play format makes it extremely exciting.

With this down time during overseeding, I hope you get to enjoy some great golf over the next couple of weekends.

Until next time...
Fairways and Greens,

Rocketballz Golf Craze!

Rocketballz Golf Craze!

In the wide world of golf it seems newer is better. Ask TaylorMade, they come out with a new special every quarter claiming to be bigger and better. The Rocketballz golf clubs seemed to have been just that, but compared to the PING G20 it falls short in every aspect. Working at a Las Vegasgolf shop I get to see the new arrivals before the rest of the world and when I seen the new Rocketballz with the bright green logos and sleek designs I fell in love, than I fell in love the golf balls, the gloves, the bags, the hats, etc. After seeing it everywhere I kind of got burnt out on the idea of Rocketballz.

Then a set of previously owned Rocketballz came in so I figured I would take the used golf clubs for a spin. I mostly went to the driving range with them and even though they were a set of used golf clubs they could have been resold as new.

I have found all the way through the set they gave great feedback to the golfer. I could feel the ball connecting in the sweet spot and it was like a click through the body. The set of irons was all about forgiveness. For every one that I hit solid and square I had a baker’s dozen off and to the right. When I say forgiving though it still gave me play and did go too astray and it really worked with me.

The Rocketballz are an easy sell all across the board, but if you ask me you can do better. The same week I demo tested a few Ping G20’s, and the clubs gave great feedback, the forgiveness was there, and the look struck you with confidence. If you ask my honest opinion for the higher handicap golfers go for Ping. I know Ping golf clubs are expensive but to be honest, so are Rocketballz golf clubs. A brand new set of Ping G20’s will cost you 699.95 and the new Rocketballz are only $100.00 cheaper. If you shop around I am sure you can find a better deal on a set of used golf clubs, but the extra $100.00 is worth every penny. In the long run, your Ping G20’s will hold a higher resell value for years to come, verses the TaylorMade Irons which lose value in a short time.

When you buy the G20 Ping’s you will be shocked on the way the club feels, how you can swing it, the looks and the best of all the forgiveness. The cavity backs are so wide and thick you can almost look at them like hybrid golf clubs. The distance you will achieve with the irons from Ping will be astounding to see.

Las Vegas Traveling Golf

Las Vegas Traveling Golf

Las Vegas is known for its many attractions that awe the kids and entrance all the adults. The bright lights seduce people of all ages to enter into the spectacular hotels and casinos that line Las Vegas Blvd. Inside the casinos you can fulfill every fantasy you have ever had. The youth can entertain themselves for countless hours at any of the many arcades sprinkled throughout the strip. The grownups can realize the dreams of hitting the jackpot and buying a new car. The wonderful things the strip offers are infinite.

Many of our tourists come here in aspirations of playing one of our many challenging, tough golf courses and conquering the 18 golf holes to brag at the 19th. On the Las Vegas strip you will find some of the most extravagant, breathtaking golf links on the planet. The lush greens, the elaborate course architectures and the flourishing green trees are a few reasons why these golf courses are the most sought after golf courses to play in the world.

One of the most magnificent golf courses in the world is hosted right here in the city of Las Vegas. The Wynn Golf Course, the 7,042 yard, 18-hole, par 70 golf course, is fixed with wonderful facets like waterfalls, streams and a plethora of trees dazzles even the most veteran golfers of the world. The golf course was designed by the world famous golf architect Tom Fazio and the casino owner, Steve Wynn. To get a tee time at the Wynn Course expect to pay roughly around $500.00 at the door.

When you come out to Las Vegas and you bring your golf clubs many things could go a rye. Many stories have been told around the bar around the city of a broken shaft, damaged club heads and even whole golf bags missing. If you came out here to golf and you have a PW that has been broken, damaged or lost, you are left with the only option of buying another one.

Many new pitching wedges cost well over $100.00 and if you are on a budget vacation, spending $100.00 on one golf club is not an option. You may also buy used golf clubs, but no to many Las Vegas golf shops have used golf clubs ready and available to golfers. There is a few golf stores in the city of Las Vegas that do sell used golf equipment and even will let you trade in golf equipment. The two locations where you can get used golf equipment is Golf Galaxy located roughly 30 minutes off the strip, but also Vegas Golf Inc. which is located 15 minutes away from the stratosphere.

Whichever the way the tree shakes, you will need a backup plan. Even though you prefer the golf club you have, you most likely will have to sacrifice at one time or another just to get a round of golf in. Whether you are on a budget and need to purchase used golf clubs or if you have a big bank account and can buy new. Make sure you know where to go and how to get there; otherwise you can lose a whole day in the wonderful city of Las Vegas.

Local Las Vegas Golf

Hot, dry, bright lights and golf: if you have not figured it out yet, we are talking about Las Vegas. When the city first started being developed, Las Vegas boomed when the President Herbert Hoover green lighted the building of the Boulder Dam. (Boulder Dam was later renamed by the Truman administration Hoover Dam) During the construction of the damn, Las Vegas’ population boomed from a little town population of 5,000 to a staggering 25,000 practically overnight.

In 1931 legislature made the decision to legalize gambling on the local level here in Las Vegas. When this declaration was made Las Vegas was placed in a position to latter be crowned the gambling capital of the world. 1931 was a big year for the great city, in the same year gambling was legalized; the Las Vegas Club and a few other casinos were built in what is now known as Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas. Besides being one of the most sought after vacation spot by people all over the world, Fremont Street was also the very first paved street in Las Vegas.

In 1938 Las Vegas had its very first golf course which is still standing today. Las Vegas Golf Clubs was built right by downtown Las Vegas, making it easily accessible by dam workers in the late 1930s and gives modern day tourists a short trip when visiting the exotic Freemont Street. When you visit the Las Vegas Golf Club you can quickly forget you are in the desert. The landscaping down at the golf course is lush greens, beautiful scenery with the gorgeous trees, and clean clear water hazards. Very recently the Las Vegas Golf Club was renovated with over $5 million giving it some of the best greens to putt on in the city.

In the city of Las Vegas the summer days gets hot, too hot if you ask me. The golf courses understand that it is tough to go golfing in 110+ degree weather, so to entice the golfers they have ridiculous cheap prices on tee times. Some of the cheapest golf I have ever seen in the country happens on Tuesday afternoons at almost any local golf course. The Las Vegas Golf Club starts at $9.99, Spanish Trails starts at a low $19.00 and if you find yourself visiting Primm, NV you will find great deals on golf starting at $24.00.

When you visit the city of Las Vegas looking to golf, know you can get a deal almost anywhere you decide to pick a tee time. Make sure you shop around and even visit a local Las Vegas Golf Store to get assistance in creating a tee time. Many of the local golf dealers have connections at the courses and can get you a discount rate to get you golfing for almost nothing.

Golf Therapy Article #23

Dear,

Hope this finds you on a beach with a cool breeze and tropical drink in hand.

The British Open was all it was cracked up to be except the weather conditions were a lot better than expected. Seeing Ernie at 42 years old win another major after a long drought was great, even if it was to some degree at the expense of Adam Scott. Scott  is a great player and I have no doubt he will pick up a few majors along the way if he can put that four hole brain fart behind him.

Now we come to last major of the year and one that is close to my heart. My annual dues help pay for the PGA Championship, yet because of this ailment I have called LOFT (lack of friggin talent), I won't be participating in it again this year. I will be on the couch with the rest of you hoping some of my fellow club professionals make the cut.

This year, the 94th edition of the PGA Championship will be contested on the Ocean Course at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina. Some of you may remember this Pete Dye gem when the Ryder Cup was played there in 1991. This links style course is quite spectacular as it has more seaside holes than any other course in the Northern Hemisphere. This par 72 will play at 7,676 yards and can be stretched out from the tips to a mind numbing 7,937 yards. That would give even Bubba indigestion. It should be a test of endurance with the humidity and if the wind decides to blow, watch out.

Enjoy the tournament and stay cool!

THE OCEAN COURSE AT KIAWAH ISLAND

Until next time...

From the Lesson Tee

"POINT THE SHOULDER TOWARD THE BALL"

The shoulder turn occurs on a tilted plane, so the left shoulder should move down as well as around on the backswing.

If you set your posture correctly, the tilt in your spine angle should give you the sensation of your shoulder turning toward and behind the ball at the top of your backswing. This will put you in the right position and allow you to hit the ball squarely and forcefully.

Many golfers, especially those who have played baseball, tennis or hockey, tend to turn the shoulders to much on a level plane. This will cause your swing to become to flat and can cause you to either work under the ball or in most cases come over the top in an effort to square the club face. In many cases it can also cause the body to lift on the backswing. This lifting or vertical motion reduces your ability to rotate the body correctly and causes a significant loss in power.

I would suggest getting in front of a mirror and check your posture and the tilt of your spine.  This visual will no doubt help you get in a more athletic position when addressing the ball and get you in a position where your shoulder is working towards the ball.

I DID ALL OF THAT?

After a particularly poor round of golf, a popular club member skipped the clubhouse for a cocktail and decided to head home. As he was walking to the parking lot a policeman approached him and asked him, "Did you tee off on the sixteenth hole about an hour ago?"

"Yes," the golfer responded.

"Did you happen to slice your ball over the trees out onto the highway?"

"Yes, actually I did. How did you know?"

"Well," said the policeman very seriously. "It turns out your ball struck the windshield of a car, which in turn caused the driver to lose control and caused a five car pile up. The traffic delay caused a fire truck to get jammed up and in turn didn't make it to a fire. The Law Offices of Skip, Jump and Swindle burned to the ground."

"So what do you intend to do about this situation?", the policeman asked.

The golfer thought it over carefully and responded.....

"I think I'll close my stance a little bit, strengthen my grip a hair and try to stay behind the ball a little longer."

Choosing the Right Collegiate Golf Bag

For those of us who have a deep running passion for the sport of golf and a love affair with that special college team, we like to sport our collegiate heritages where ever we go. I have seen whole cars painted the color of their favorite sports team, I have seen license plates with U.S.C. or Running Rebels logos, t-shirts, shorts, hats, gloves, jackets, I can keep going on and on for another whole page, but I will save you the pain. The point is we love to show our school pride. Some of us are not even our favorite teams Alumni; we just might be from that state and love our hometowns. (Go Gophers!)

The point is we sport our teams everywhere, why not the golf course?

Some of you might already have yourself a collegiate golf stand bag and rock it every weekend, and brag about how well your guys did last season or how you are going to stomp out the competition this season.
The trouble is there are a few companies that produce these collegiate golf bags, the question is which company makes the highest quality of product and who offers more bang for your buck.

The first company we are going to look at is Ping Golf. Ping has roughly 33 schools to choose from and Ping as a golf company offers high quality product throughout their whole entire product line from golf bags to golf clubs. The Ping Collegiate Golf Bags are made in the Hoofer model and the starting price is 189.99.

Now that we looked at a golf power house like Ping Golf, let us look a company that focuses mainly on the production of strictly golf accessories; Sun Mountain Golf.  Sun Mountain offers a wider selection than Ping with their selection and also has a very high quality product line. The problem is Sun Mountain is more expensive than Ping. Only $10.00 more but still, ever since the economy tanked a penny saved is a penny earned and I love earning my penny’s.

The Sun Mountain collegiate stand bag features a 6-way top offering plenty of room for you to store all your clubs spaciously. The bag also displays 3 different school logos on different sides of the bag.  Sun Mountain offers their collegiate bags in either a cart bag or a stand bag, the cart bag is only $30.00 more than the stand bag, making the grand total $229.00.

Another major player in the collegiate golf bag game is Team effort. Team effort is actually a sub-company of a major sports apparel manufacturer, Nike. Team effort are hands down (personal opinion) the better of the three options listed. They have great pricing starting at $149.00, a whole forty bucks cheaper than the competition. Just because the bags cost is cheaper doesn’t mean Team Effort cut any corners on the production of their equipment.

Team Effort also offers, besides a high quality product, the option of personal embroidery. You can get your name blasted on the side of your bag for no extra charge, a pretty cool feature that is available if you opt to choose it. If you like the styles of Team Effort you will also like the amazing feature on the cart bag of a built in cooler. When I first found the Cooler Cart Bag had a built in cooler, I thought that was the coolest thing I have ever heard of.

As always with golf, it all boils down to your own personal opinion and what you like. Find a company that fills your needs and go for it.

Hosel Fades

ADVICE FROM A RETIRED HUSBAND

My name is Jon. Let me relate how I handled this situation with my wife Mariann. When I retired a few years ago, it became necessary for Mariann to get a full-time job, along with her part-time job, both for extra income and to provide us with the health benefits we needed. Shortly after she started working, I noticed she was beginning to show her age.The quality of her housekeeping was not up to her usual standards. I usually get home from the golf club about the same time she gets home from work each day.

Although she knows how hungry I am, she almost always says she needs to rest for half an hour or so before she starts dinner. I don't yell at her. Instead, I tell her to take her time and wake me when she gets dinner on the table. I generally have lunch at the Men's Grill at the club, so eating out is not an option in the evening. I'm ready for some home-cooked grub when I hit that door. She used to do the dishes when we were finished eating, but now it's not unusual for them to sit on the table for several hours. I do what I can, diplomatically reminding her several times each evening that they won't clean themselves. I know she really appreciates this, as it does seem to motivate her to get them done before she goes to bed.

Another symptom of her aging is her complaining. For example, she will tell me she finds it hard to take the time to pay our household bills during her lunch break. I  remind her that missing a lunch or two wouldn't hurt (if you know what I mean). I like to think tact is one of my strong points.

When doing simple jobs like mowing the lawn, she needs more rest periods.
I'm a fair man. I tell her to fix a nice cold glass of lemonade and sit for a minute. And as long as she is making one for herself, she may as well make one for me.

I know I probably look like a saint the way I support Mariann. I'm not saying that showing this much patience and consideration is easy. Nobody knows better than I how frustrating women get as they get older.  However guys, we took em' for better or worse. Try using a little more tact and less criticism. If by reading this article it helps your relationship with the little lady it will be well worthwhile. After all, we are put on this earth to help each other.

EDITOR"S NOTE:
Jon died suddenly on May 31 of a perforated rectum.

The police report says he was found with a Callaway extra-long 50-inch Big Bertha Driver golf club jammed up his rear end with barely 5 inches of grip showing and a sledge hammer lying nearby.

His wife Marianne, was arrested and charged with murder.

The all woman jury took only 10 minutes to find her not guilty, accepting her defense that Jon, somehow without looking, accidentally sat down on his golf club.

2012 Memorial Tournament: Tiger Rekindles His Golf Magic

This weekend in golf was filled with chips we will never forget, and putts we wished we didn’t see.  The tournament started by the “Golden Bear” himself, Jack Nicklaus, was truly a magic filled weekend.

Jack Nicklaus had a vision to create a golf club that encompassed his personal and professional life; to create a golf tournament that would embody his passion for golf. In May of 1976 is when the first Memorial tournament took placed, and the roster was a star studded roster, with only the best in the world competing.

The first winner of the whole tournament was Roger Maltbie. Maltbie overtook Hale Irwin in a playoff, shooting a birdie in the fourth extra hole, solidifying himself in Memorial Tournament history.

Today the competition, the tension and the pressure are just as thick as they were over 30 years ago. With world renowned golfers, coming to compete from invitations only, inviting only golfers who were in the top 75 for purse winnings in the previous year, guarantees that only the best, and the most formidable are competing each and every year.

This year’s winner however won in dramatic, high drama fashion, rekindling some of the old Tiger magic. Tiger Woods was down 2 strokes before he teed off on the 15th hole, only four more holes until the winner of the tournament would be decided. Birding on the 15th hole the tear began that would shake the golf world would begin.

On the 16th hole, par-3, Tiger Woods’ was playing 201 yards, having to go over water to a back left with the wind adding even more of a challenge than ever. Than Tiger with his mojo, his magic, whatever you decide to call it, birdies the hole, but not just birdies the hole, makes a shot that is in the top 10 of greatest plays ever.

Woods using an 8-iron to approach, launched the ball a bit far to the right, and overshot his mark passing the green. After the long approach Woods was faced with a challenging chip shot, 50 feet from the pin, a shot where most golfers just hope to get within just ten feet of the pin.

"This was one of the hardest ones I've pulled off,'' Woods said.

Jack Nicklaus, the same man who founded the tournament and designed the course, said Tiger had little room for error.

"If he leaves it short, he's going to leave himself again a very difficult shot. If he hits it long, he's probably going to lose the tournament,'' Nicklaus said. "He lands the ball exactly where it has to land. It doesn't make a difference whether it went in the hole or not. Going in the hole was a bonus. But what a shot.

"I don't think under the circumstances I've ever seen a better shot.''

The shot is the golf shot that was heard around the world; it will be long remembered, as the tournament when Tiger Woods matched Jack Nicklaus overall wins at 73, ten years the younger to Jack when Nicklaus won his 73rd tournament. Another great achievement for Tiger Woods’ this week is he moved up into the number 4 position in the world standings, ranked just behind Luke Donald, Rory McIlroy and Lee Westwood.

The question now comes up, is Tiger back? And is he really back, with the roller coaster of a career he has had in the past years since his major trail and tribulations he faced in life, it is really hard to tell.

My personal opinion I sure hope he is. The man is electrical and he can really get the crowd fired up. The way he plays will bring even more life to the golf of sport and recharge the younger community of golfers.

Acushnet Golf Company: FootJoy Golf

Acushnet is the undisputed leader in golf shoes and apparel, netting over 1.2 billion dollars last year in sales; Acushnet continues to dominate golf apparel sales. Acushnet was founded in 1910 first as a rubber company, focusing on de-resonating latex and supplying rubber to the industry, then as time progressed Acushnet started manufacturing their own rubber based products including water bottles and bathing caps. A far cry from what they do today.

Eventually Acushnet started crafting golf equipment products mainly golf balls, then in 1932, Acushnet separated into two divisions; golf and rubber, both of which became very successful in there respected markets. When 1935 came rolling around the first Titleist golf ball was manufactured. It happened by fluke, the owner of the company Philip E. Young, was sick and tired of his golf ball flying every which way on the golf course, he could not understand why it was so difficult to hit the ball straight. What happened next would revolutionize the golf ball industry.

Philip E. Young then took a series of golf balls to an X-Ray machine so he could see what was going on in the middle of the ball, trying to figure out what was causing the trajectory path of the golf ball while in flight. What he found was the core in the middle of the golf ball was not centered. They were off to the left, or to the right, or oblong, there was no consistency throughout. Philip then went back to the manufacturing lines and created the first Titleist golf ball, today Titleist is the most used golf ball on the market.

Then in 1985, Acushnet acquired the FootJoy golf company, the same year FootJoy joined the Acushnet brand, the company decided to sell its long standing rubber manufacturing side of the operation and focused solely on golf. The decision paid off for each individual golf brand including Titleist, FootJoy and Scotty Cameron.

On May 20th, 2011, 26 years after the Acushnet Company purchased FootJoy Golf brand, they were sold to a Korean group who were known to have ties to Fila Korea, LTD. The Korean group purchased the Acushnet Company and all their brands which included Titleist, FootJoy, Scotty Cameron and Pinnacle and they paid 1.23 billion dollars cash for the exclusive owner rights.

In 2012 FootJoy has released the XPS-1 Men’s Golf Shoe, which features brand new golf shoe technology seen nowhere else on the market. The shoe is made from Extreme Comfort Leather (ECL) which proprietary is waterproofing system and is 30% softer then FootJoy’s past generations’ performance leather, giving the ability to keep golfers comfortable and dry no matter how rugged the rough gets. As with many of FootJoys’ other shoes, the XPS-1 is backed by a two year limited waterproof warranty. By limited what FootJoy means is, when the storm clouds roll in, and you are at hole 13 and the sky opens up, your foot will be protected from water and so will the shoe. However, if you let your frustrations get the best of you and you throw your pitching wedge in the water hazard and later you have to go in after it, your shoes are no longer covered by the waterproof warranty.

FootJoy also released in 2012 the Street Style Golf Shoe with integrated spikes. The integrated spikes give golfers the ability to go from home, to the golf shop, to the tee box on the first hole without ever changing shoes. The traction given in these shoes are paralleled to golf shoes with traditional spikes. My first experience using these shoes, I almost tore the ligaments in my knees, simply because I was not ready for the grip these shoes gave. Many golfers on the market who have had experience with these shoes, and have used them on the greens, have claimed that the Street Style shoes are the most comfortable golf shoe they have ever had the opportunity to wear. That statement is a huge compliment to FootJoy with all the cut-throat competition they face on the market today.

FootJoy is known for thinking outside the box, and I could only imagine what everybody said when FootJoy announced that they are manufacturing a golf sandal. I know what I said and it was mostly just laughs and doubts. Sure enough, FootJoy released the GreenJoy Golf Sandals, and I can guarantee for every critic who critiques the sandal as unpractical, or useless, there is an advocate who uses the sandals every Sunday. The sandals are revolutionary in the industry, and can be seen everywhere in the United States on the local links in use by many avid golfers. Do I recommend using the sandals? No. I prefer more conventional golf shoes, or even the integrated spike shoes. If you want to wear sandals go to the beach, not golfing.

Now for the other side of this two headed beast, FootJoy Gloves. FootJoy Gloves have such a high regard from the consumers that use them. FootJoy has many of the same customers they have had since the 80’s making the same high quality product they offer today. FootJoy gloves have a very soft feel to them and the grip they offer has no equivalent on the market. Today many golfers on the PGA use FootJoy gloves including Rory Mcilory, Adam Scott, Lee Westwood and Bubba Watson; four golfers who are dominating the sport today.

I believe FootJoy golf makes high quality products great for any and every golfer. I did not touch up on it, maybe next time, but FootJoy also features a whole line of ladies golf shoes, golf gloves and apparel. The apparel line includes polo shirts for the hot summer days, windproof jackets for the windy spring and heavier coats for the long falls and winters. The apparel line is featured in men’s, ladies and kids, so your kids can get in on the golfing event. But to be honest isn’t that why all of us go golfing? Just to get a break from everyday life, from the kids and the wife? If you so choose to use FootJoy golf equipment on your next outing, I can assure you, you are using the highest quality of product available on the golf market today.

New Nike TW 13' Tiger Woods Golf Shoes

Nike Golf's most choice staff member, Tiger Woods, has finally received what he has been wanting. Tiger Woods has been asking, many years now, that Nike to design a shoe that resembles the same shoe he works out in and runs in. The shoe is designed with very striking looks, and top-notch technologies, allotting golfers of any caliber level improve their skills.
Tiger Woods was training with the new technology from Nike called FREE. The label accurately depicts the function of the new golf shoe sole technology, because FREE is designed to give the feeling of running barefoot offering little protection and traction. The FREE technology makes for a very lightweight shoe along with being very, very flexible.
"I love the feel of Nike Free for training, so I asked Tobie if it was possible to bring that technology to the golf course." Tiger Woods first wore these shoes back in mid August of 2011.

The technology actually gives golfers more movement in their forefoot, which in speculation, will allow more power transfer from their golf swing into the ball. Giving further, longer drives than in any other Nike golf shoes.

The upper part of the shoe is crafted from polyurethane coated with stretch fabric; you can also find this sort of fabric throughout some of Nike's basketball shoes. Giving the shoe more stretch and durability, everything an athlete can ask for. Also, a portion of the heel in the shoes comes from old, recycled Nike Air Max shoes that have been melted into thread and crafted into a textile material.

The TW 13' golf shoes also use Dynamic Fit support and Flywire infused straps. Integrating these two features into the shoe give for maximum comfort ability, making the shoe fit snuggly around the golfers' foot. The tighter feel and the added support makes for increased performance right from the tee box, getting maximum amount of distance on every shot.

Before you start jumping out of your seat with excitement to purchase the new Nike TW 13' Golf Shoes they will not be released until next fall to the general public, which is right around the corner, but still it is time an impatient golfer may not want to endure. The retail price is $230.00 a HUGE investment for any golfer to make. If you have the extra cash to spend on these shoes I strongly suggest purchasing them, if not the golf market today offers a plethora of great alternative, discount golf shoes available anywhere. Also the Nike Zoom TW 2012 Men's Golf Shoes are available to order right now, just in case you feel you cannot wait.

Adidas Golf Shoes VS. Nike Golf Shoes

Many golfers have a personal preference to what brand they like to shop, from golf shoes to drivers to irons. People, growing up may have received a set of Callaway Big Bertha’s when they were younger, and feel a product loyalty to Callaway and only golf Callaway equipment. Others may have remembered when Tiger Woods was signed by Nike Golf in the mid 90’s, then proceeded to become a power house in the golf world, dominating every tournament on the PGA. In turn their thinking went directly to, if I golf with Nike, I will become the best golfer on my local links.

It is these type of prejudices that holds back golfers from using the best product available on the golf market. I am going to write, in this installment, about the major men’s golf shoe manufacturers. I will compare Nike Golf to Adidas Golf, giving you the pros of each individual company. Also note, that these are not the only companies that offer golf shoes, there is a slew of golf shoe manufacturers that may offer better products, better prices and overall better customer service, but you are going to have to do your own research on companies that I will not be listing.

Let us first look at Nike Golf. Nike Golf Shoes are priced on a wide range from $90.00-$230.00 and everywhere in between. Nike makes their shoes from a number of different materials, all depending on the shoe you purchase. The Nike Air Tour Saddle II which retails for a cool 90 bucks, is crafted from %100 leather uppers, while the Nike Lunar Ascend, the more modernly designed shoe, is constructed from Hyper Fuse technology; Nike claims this technology optimizes durability.

Nike Golf also claims some of their products being waterproof, backing them by a waterproof warranty, some being a one year warranty, others two. Nike Zoom TW 2012, Nike Air Range WP, and the Nike Zoom Trophy are a few on the list that are back by the warranty. Now mind you these are limited warranty’s, meaning you can’t jump into the water hazard on your local par 5 to fetch your ball, the go back to Nike and say your shoe is falling apart due to water damage. However, on rainy days you can guarantee your foot will be dry and protected no matter how much the sky’s pour.

If you are looking for the higher end type of golf shoe, the shoes that employ every technology in them, except for microwave technology, and are willing to spend in excess of $200.00, Nike can sure suit your tastes. Including the New Nike Zoom TW 2012, manufactured for Tiger Woods, Designed by Tiger Woods with Nike Free Technology, the cream of the crop in Nike Golf Technologies. The Free technology actually conforms to the human foot, giving golfers feet the flexibility of being barefoot, while still giving traction and protection.

The final overview on Nike is great quality products backed by Nike’s confidence in all the goods they offer throughout their different lines. The negatives, the shoes are very expensive and probably over-priced, they also have a very limited selection when it comes to integrated traction soles; the hottest and up and coming technology on the market for golf shoes.

We have looked at the super-power Nike; now let us look at another sports sovereignty, Adidas. Adidas has been in cahoots with TaylorMade golf since 1997, wrecking the other competition in golf sports merchandise including golf clubs, golf equipment and most importantly, golf shoes.
Let me clarify that TaylorMade handles the Golf Clubs and Adidas handles the apparel along with Ashworth, but today are only concern is with Adidas.

Adidas along with Nike has a very wide price range on golf shoes; although no discount golf shoes, the starting rate for Adidas is at $87.00 with the Adidas adiCROSS Golf shoes, one of three golf shoes on the 2012 Adidas line with an integrated spike sole. The other two are the Adidas Pure Motion and the Adidas Cross Flex, prices ranging from $99.00-119.00.  The cheapest conventional shoe on the product line (conventional meaning spiked sole) would be the Adidas Power Band 4.0 costing $144.00.

All of the shoes from Adidas Golf are crafted from full-grain leather, giving the necessary durability all golfers need and want. Adidas also backs some of their shoes available with a waterproof warranty, the downside, when compared to Nike, is it only comes with two different styles you can choose from. One is the Power Bands the other is the adiPURE which retails at $249.00, which makes me wonder, how quality are the products coming off the Adidas assembly line?

To sum up Adidas in a few short words, they have very stylish shoe make ups they offer. Adidas also offers a decent selection of integrated spike shoes, with three different models, varying in over 12 different colors. The downside is, the general selection is very limited, marketing only 7 different style variations, not exactly a wide variety of choices. The prices are generally the same as Nike, no positive there; it really is starting to look a bit shaky for Adidas.

I am going to let you be the final judge of what company is better. Maybe you have special unique experience with one of these two companies, maybe you will have an opinion that may need to be heard. But these are not my personal opinions I have shared with you, these are just the cold hard facts. No bias on end, I actually prefer using Ecco Golf Shoes, I believe though, other than FootJoy, these are the one and two companies on the top of the market. I truly hope I have shed some light on the subject for you as a consumer, nothing less and nothing more.

Adidas Golf Clothing

Adidas Golf Clothing

Hello, My name is Richard G. Hart, you are probably wondering how I know anything about golf clothing. Well, I am a webmaster with VegasGolfPros.com and all I work with is golf products; golf clubs, golf shoes, golf bags and yes, golf apparel. It gets overwhelming to myself when going through all the golf products actually out there, so I naturally figured it is just as overwhelming for consumers.
My mission here is to inform consumers on what their buying, what is available and where the best deals are at.
Adidas has always been at the top of the sports world, golf is no exception. Partners with TaylorMade, golfers are able to buy the elite clothing offered by Adidas while shopping the best PGA Tour approved golf clubs. I am not here to talk about TaylorMade though, if you would like more information on TM go visit http://www.vegasgolfpros.com and you will find out everything you need to know.
Now, let’s get back to the main mission statement.
Adidas golf offers clothing line’s for men, women and children with a wide selection and variations. The main designs for the men and women are Tour Performance, Fashion Performance, Core Essentials and Elements.
I am here to focus on the Core Essentials and Elements line by Adidas Golf Apparel.
First things first, let’s lay out the difference in the both of them. Core Essentials for both men and women are essentially for warm summer days, keeping any golfer cool and comfortable while spending a day on the links, playing at the local park with their kids or even just around the house. With classic designs and many variances in color’s Adidas Core Essentials offers products to fit anybody’s choice.
Also, the Core Essentials for women features either sleeveless polo’s or regular sleeved polo’s. All shirts are fabricated out of 100% Polyester to give the shirt a soft, durable feel. The Adidas Logo is featured throughout the line; men’s and women’s both.
The Adidas Element Apparel line is quite the exact opposite of the Core line. Core essentials if for summer, warm days; the Adidas Element’s are designed to keep golfers warm on the more brisk, windy days. Fabricated with heavier designs then the rest of the clothing lines form Adidas, and give less resistance when golfing.  The Elements shirts are produced with more classic dark colors, but incorporate bold, unique looks.
The prices are relatively cheap when it comes to golf clothing.  The jackets of course, are more expensive then the light fabric t-shirts, but still reasonably priced considering the quality.  The ladies and men’s Core Essentials t-shirts prices range from 30$-$50, you can save money on shipping at http://www.vegasgolfpros.com on purchases over $150.00.
Shop Adidas Golf Apparel, Clothing, T-Shirts, Pants and shorts at http://www.vegasgolfpros.com at cheap, discount prices; serving golfers needs since 1985.

Thank you for your time, and I hope I was of service.

Best Golf Clubs

Best Golf Clubs
Hello, my name is Richard G. Hart and my profession is golf clubs, golf equipment, golf everything research for a website.
My actual experience is very limited with the actual use of clubs; I usually stick to the hitting net located at our store to practice my swing. I enjoy hitting an older version of Mizuno Irons with a Graphalloy shaft. For some reason the feel is so right to me. Also, I practice with the training iron which breaks at a certain point in the shaft of the club if I swing incorrectly. So when practicing my golf swing I have become much, much more efficient.
Anyways enough about me, I am here to talk about the best golf club for you as a golfer. Not only spec wise, but price, and trust me, I am very familiar with prices. I work with product pricing from TaylorMade Drivers to YES! Putters. I understand the significance of prices these days; of course because of the recession, also other reasons unseen like the nagging wife who cannot justify you spending $1000.00 on a set of irons; or even $399.00 on the latest Titleist RocketBallz Driver.
Although divorcing your wife so you can have it your way looks like the only option sometimes, I assure you; compromise is the secret to relationships. The compromise is this; you still get your brand new, name brand clubs while you do not spend a fortune out of the bank. Now it seems like hours and hours of research is necessary to make an informed decision. Also countless number of visits to your local golf store, but I assure you, this article will make suggestions, and give you money saving tips to make sure your score remains unaltered and your pocket book stays relatively plump.
O.k. first things first; set a budget. I am going to be honest; I do not even leave the house with no more money than I am willing to spend. I have to do this because I am a compulsive buyer, I will leave the house for dinner and come back with a new T.V. it is just the way I work. To counteract this action, I set a limit for myself. The same can be done while shopping for the best golf clubs to suite you. If you set a number STICK TO THAT NUMBER! Do not say "oh, well, I need this brand new Fujikura Graphite Shaft because it will help my swing." Let's be honest, although graphite shafts are quite amazing especially when installed on a driver to increase swing speed; buying it for all 8 irons quite unnecessary most of the time.
Another thing is, find the best golf clubs for you! Just because your friend has the brand new Callaway RAZR X Black Irons and he has improved his score, doesn't mean you will get the same effect. It is all about feel for your personal self. If your main objective is to win then I suggest shopping around to fit your personal style, if you need to impress your friends by buying the new expensive iron set, just stop reading this article.
Remember to shop around prices too. If you are shopping online I must advise you to go to http://www.vegasgolfpros.com/ reason being is they sell at the lowest prices available on the market for brand new. If you are not looking for brand new, they also sell the best used golf clubs. You may think the brand new, top of the line, price through the roof golf clubs are the best on the market, but my friend you surely are wrong. One of the best feeling golf clubs I ever used was an old set of Ping Eyes II Irons. They were beat up, ugly brown, old and used, but the way the fell to me was so right.
Here is an example of the most expensive club on the market is not always the best decision: Callaway RAZR Muscleback Irons. They retail at 1199.00 my store VegasGolfPros offers it at $999.00. The looks absolutely awe inspiring. The iron set has a clean, chrome finish. Includes the Roger Cleveland stamp on it. Incredibly impressive on paper, but, yes the dreadful but, is if you're not a pro, you will have an incredibly challenging time hitting these clubs the way you want to. They are designed for PGA Tour players, or very skilled amateur players. If you are neither one of those and you just thought money could buy you greatness you are absolutely WRONG! Money can buy you alot of things, but a good golf score is not one of them.
A great choice for golfers who look to hit the course up and have a good time on the weekend, maybe even the occasional business meeting on the course and want to impress the boss with your incredible shots, or even every day, I would suggest the Adams V3 Hybrid Irons Set. Why you ask? Here is the reason why, the V3 Golf Clubs by Adams are designed for maximum forgiveness. They allot the golfer unmatched forgiveness while not sacrificing club speed and playability. Now, let's not get side tracked from our primary purpose here, the best golf clubs, at reasonable prices.
The kicker on the Adam's V3 Hybrid Irons is they only cost $399.00! The set includes 4 Iron through Pitching Wedge and a Gap wedge. If you don't believe me visit http://www.vegasgolfpros.com/Adams_Idea_Tech_V3_Mens_Hybrid_Golf_Club_Set and look for your self. I am not lying.
